Aikido is a traditional Japanese system of self defence that is rooted in the belief of non-confrontation.

 

The essence of this, the most gentle of the Martial Arts, is the concept of turning the attacker’s strength and aggression back on themselves.

 

For this reason, Aikido is not dependant upon physical size or strength, making it ideally suitable for children of all ages.

 

Aikido Kids currently teaches in Taunton, Somerset, England.

 

We have our own full time centre with fully matted surface for safety.

Most classes are run by

Sensei David Luddington 4th Dan

and his wife, Sensei Sarah Luddington 1st Dan.
